When we say M.G.R in Tamil Nadu, it will echo as N.T.R in Andhra. Many Tamilians worship MGR and NTR is Andhra's Devudu (Means GOD in Telugu).
When their fans were betting that their favorite actors cannot be replaced, the younger generation started putting Rajini and Chiranjeevi in their places.
As the Music lovers of those days call "Old is gold", Rajini and Chiranjeevi are still gold in the minds of the fans for the past 25 years.
Let us ignore the oldies comparison. Now, the expectations on Rajini's Political appearance and the appreciation of Chiranjeevi's Political appearance are the result of the younger generations thinking about how their Favorite actors going to help them.
Let us first see the similarities between Rajini and Chiru. They both started their experience with Cinema in Chennai Adayar Film Institute. Chiru is Rajini's junior in the Institute.
Then, their relationship was just a Hi-Hello relationship. But today, they are like kith and kin. Chiru also entered the Cinema as a villain and became a hero. Both were introduced to the film industry by Director Balachandar. But Chiru did not receive the same opening as Rajini.
Also, the fan fare for Rajini in Andhra in the beginning of his career got reduced after Chiru's arrival. May be the fate decided that these two should become Super Stars in Tamil and Telugu.
Their Commercial Masala films are not the only reason for them to be the beloved Mass heroes of their fans. Their simplicity, the way they mingle with others, their broad mind, their generosity are also important factors. Generally, in Tollywood, the cine industry was dominated by a few families. It is difficult for persons with no background to become a star in Tollywood. There is a rumor that ven if someone comes up, those families don't like that. But, denying all those rumors, a Police Constable's son became the Super Star of Tollywood. He also encourages any new faces that come into Tollywood. This approach of Chiru, has tied Junior NTR and other family members of NTR in his love.
Recently, Dr.Rajasekar – who is used to act in movies like Ithu Thanda Police, Nee Mandhiriya Iruntha Enakkenna – has criticized Chiranjeevi's Political Entry. This agitated Chiru's fans and they attacked Rajasekar's family. Chiru did not like this and he went to Rajasekar's house, waited for an hour and apologized to him for what his fans had done.
No one can deny that Rajini also has the similar Greatness. In 1996 elections, Manorama criticized Rajini personally on many political speeches. But still he forgave her and gave her a role in Arunachalam.
Recently, the two men who had similarities in place, position, stardom, image and respect, are taking different directions in their life journey. Okay, while everyone is expecting him to come to Politics, Rajini gave this short story as his answer why he does not want to come to Politics "Some one asked Ramana Maharishi once. The world is going worse and worse everyday, but Big saints like you are staying in Arunachala instead of purifying the people's mind and activities. Ramana Maharishi replied 'The God, who created you, me, this sky and the world, is least bothered about this, why you are worried about this? First you purify yourself. If everyone purified themselves, then the world will get purified'. Like that, I am purifying myself. I am living to my consciousness. It is not my business to change everyone. God has given sixth sense to everyone and they should use it to change themselves and their family".
He also briefs this as "If a man has peace in his mind, then he will never go into violence". Rajini understands that there is politics in this divinity. Politics in Divinity? What kind of Politics is that? What is missing in this for the Rajini fans? – "If a change happens in every human beings mind, then they don't need another human being in the name of 'Leader' to lead them to Change" – This is the Politics that is hidden in Rajini's divinity.
But in contrary, Rajini fans believe that "Change starts with the Leadership of a Great Human being like Rajini". This is causing unnecessary confusion on both sides until today.

That is the Blood Bank that he started keeping only public service in mind. This blood bank acts like a corporate company in two levels. This blood bank is saving many lives in the entire Andhrapradesh. Chrianjeevi is bearing all the expenses for this blood bank.
If a fan brings the blood donation certificate, then he can take a picture with Chiranjeevi. This is the basis of the Blood bank that Chiranjeevi started. This has made Chiranjeevi's picture to hang in many hospitals across Andhra. It is not great for an actor's picture to be placed in a Cinema theater. It is really great if it is hung in a Hospital. The Andhra Superstar has achieved this in his life time.
Rajini may avoid coming to Politics as he personally wish, but he has a responsibility to prove himself among the people outside the film industry like Chiranjeevi.
It is high time he uses his Image – which is unused since 1996 – in good ways. Or at least he should let his fans do something. Even actors who were born with a silver spoon are now mingling with public and spending their money and time with them has become common now a days. But being grown up as an ordinary middle class and achieved the Superstar status, Rajini shouldn't single himself out of the public and not showing his social responsibility is a big Question mark in his life.
After seeing Kuselan's results, this looks like the right time for Rajini to take a better and urgent decision.
